The National Commission for Women (NCW) in association with the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Konkan Railway Corporation Limited, conducted a successful seminar cum capacity building workshop on anti-human trafficking at Madgaon on 23.02.2026. The workshop was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional mechanisms and enhance preparedness among railway and enforcement personnel to effectively prevent and respond to incidents of human trafficking.

It has been decided by South Western Railway for revision in composition on a temporary and permanent basis in the following trains to clear extra rush of passengers. Details are as under:

 

Good News for Passengers!!! It has been decided to run following special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Holi Festival 2026. Details are as under.

1) Train no. 01004 / 01003 Madgaon Jn. - Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Madgaon Jn Special :

Train No. 01004 Madgaon Jn. - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special will leave from  Madgaon Jn. at 16:30 hrs, on 01/03/2026 (Sunday) & 08/03/2026 (Sunday). The train will reach  Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 06:20 hrs on the next day.

Konkan Railway (KRCL) successfully detected a theft case onboard Train No. 11004 Tutari Express through the alertness and prompt action of its staff.
