Konkan Railway Celebrates International Women’s Day
Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), in association with the Konkan Railway Women’s Cultural & Social Service Association (KRWC & SSA), celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm, reaffirming its commitment to gender equality, empowerment and inclusivity. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Smt. Manisha Jha, President of KRWC & SSA, who highlighted the role and status of women in ancient India and emphasized the importance of ensuring equal opportunities and recognition for women in society.
Braille Signages Installed at Madgaon Railway Station for Visually Impaired Passengers
In a significant step towards promoting accessibility and inclusive infrastructure, Braille signages for visually impaired passengers have been installed at Madgaon Railway Station in collaboration with the Kamalaksh Naik Foundation.
