Good news for passengers!!! It has been decided by Ministry of Railways to provide  stoppage to Train No. 11097 / 11098 Pune Jn. - Ernakulam Jn.  - Pune Jn.  “Poorna”  Express (Weekly) on experimental basis for a period of six months w.e.f. 10/03/2019 (Journey Commences On Ex. PUNE 09/03/2019). Details are as under :

Improvement to Passenger amenities on Konkan Railway is a continuous process. With a view to meet the expectations of the passengers, Konkan Railway is making all efforts to provide improved facilities at stations.

Quality infrastructure and amenities are the keys for improved passenger satisfaction. Minister of Railways is focusing on enhancing the services at railway stations to achieve high quality passenger satisfaction. Konkan Railway in its continued efforts and dedicated approach to community has taken various initiatives under the able leadership of Hon’ble Minister of Railways Shri Piyush Goyal by way of providing more and better passenger facilities/amenities to the passengers.

Traffic Block will be taken by Central Railway at Lokmanya Tilak (T) to undertake repair and maintenance work of Pit line no. 1. The repercussions to Trains due to the said block are as under :

There will be a block on  07/03/2019 between 13:00 hrs & 16:00hrs at Rajapur Road station  for commissioning of Loopline No. 2 as a part of  upgradation of infrastructure work on Konkan Railway.  Details of repercussions to the trains due to the said work are as under :

It has been decided by Railway Board to introduce new weelky AC Double Decker Express between Lokmanya Tilak (T) & Madgaon Jn. and to change  the Days of Service of Tejas Express. Details are as under :

A) Introduction of Train No. 11099 / 11100 New Weekly AC Double Decker Express between Lokamanya Tilak (T) – Madgaon Jn. - Lokamanya Tilak (T) :

Good news for passengers !!!! It has been decided to run special trains between  Mumbai CSMT, Lokmanya Tilak (T), Pune Jn., Panvel  &  Sawantwadi Road, Karmali  in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during Mahashivaratri / Holi Festival – 2019. Details are as follows :
1) Train No. 01113 / 01114 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Sawantwadi Road - Lokmanya Tilak (T)  Shivratri Special .

Good news for passengers!!! It has been decided to run special trains between Mumbai CSMT and Madgaon Jn. in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during Anganewadi Mela – 2019. Details are as follows :

Train No. 01193 / 01194 Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn. - Mumbai CSMT Unreserved Special.

Train No. 01193 Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn. Unreserved Special will leave from  Mumbai CSMT  at  20:55 hrs on 22nd February 2019 (Friday). Train will reach Madgaon Jn. at 12:30 hrs on the next day.

Train No. 01157 Mumbai CSMT – Karmali One Way Special, Train No. 02006 Karmali - Mumbai CSMT One Way Superfast Special,Train No. 01431 / 01432 Pune Jn. - Sawantwadi Road – Pune Jn. Special, Train No. 01160 / 01159 Sawantwadi Road - Panvel- Sawantwadi Road Special, Train No. 01161 / 01162 Lokmanya Tilak(T) - Sawantwadi Road - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special will open for booking from 16.02.2019 at all Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS), internet and IRCTC website.
