Good news for passengers !!!! It has been decided to run special trains between Pune Jn. , Mumbai CSMT, Lokmanya Tilak (T), Panvel  &  Sawantwadi Road, Karmali  in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during Anganewadi Mela – 2019. Details are as follows :
1) Train No. 01157 Mumbai CSMT – Karmali One Way Special.

To augment the capacity of the line & to reduce bottlenecks, Konkan Railway has taken up the project for “Construction of 10 new stations & 8 Loop Lines” at various places over its route.  

Good news for passengers !!!! It has been decided to run holiday special trains on special fare between Bandra (T) and Mangaluru Jn. to clear extra rush of passengers in co-ordination with Western Railway. Details are as follows :

Train No. 09009 / 09010 Bandra (T) – Mangaluru Jn. - Bandra (T) (Weekly) Special Train on Special Fare:
Train No. 09009 Bandra (T) – Mangaluru Jn. Weekly Special on Special Fare will leave from Bandra (T) at 23:45 hrs on 07th February 2019 (Thursday). Train will reach Mangaluru Jn. at 19:30 hrs on the next day.

Good News for Passengers!!! It has been decided to provide halts to the following trains on an experimental basis for the period of six months over Western Railway. Details are as under:

It has been decided to take block for upgradation of infrastructure work at Sawarda station for commissioning of Loop Line No 2 on 04/02/2019 (Monday) from 15:30 Hrs to 18:30 Hrs. Details of repercussions to the trains are as under :

Trains regulated:

1. Train no 12977 Ernakulam Jn. - Ajmer Maru Sagar Express will be regulated between Kankavali & Sangameshwar Road station for 03:10 Hrs.

2. Train no. 12484 Amritsar Jn. - Kochuveli Express will be regulated between Kolad & Chiplun station for 02 Hrs.

Good news for passengers!!! It has been decided to augment one 3 Tier AC coach in Train no   19260/19259 Bhavnagar-Kochuveli-Bhavnagar Weekly Express on temporary basis to clear extra rush of passengers in co-ordination with Western Railway. Details are as under :

It has been decided to change the composition of  Train No.16338/16337 Ernakulam Jn.- Okha - Ernakulam Jn. Bi- weekly Express, Train No. 22655 / 22656 Thiruvananthapuram Central– H. Nizamuddin - Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Express & Train No.22653/22654 Thiruvananthapuram Central – H. Nizamuddin - Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Express on permanent basis by Southern Railway. Details are as follows :
