Good news for passengers !!!  It has been decided to run additional special trains between Mumbai CSMT - Karmali   to clear extra rush of passengers during Winter  and Christmas  in co-ordination with Central Railway.

1). Train No. 02025 / 02026 Mumbai CSMT - Karmali - Mumbai CSMT Super Fast Special .

Train No. 02025 Mumbai CSMT -  Karmali will leave from Mumbai CSMT  at 05:00 hrs on Thursday 21st & 28th December 2017. Train will reach Karmali at 13:20 hrs on same day.

Good news for passengers !!  It has been decided to run special trains between H. Nizamuddin – Madgaon Jn.  and  Yesvantpur - Vasco-Da-Gama  to clear extra rush of passengers during Winter and Christmas  in co-ordination with Northern Railway  & South Western Railway.

On 19th December 2017, an MoU was signed between Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai. The MoU for technical collaboration, which was signed by Sh. Sanjay Gupta, CMD, KRCL and Prof. D.V.Khakhar, Director, IIT Bombay will strengthen the George Fernandes Institute of Tunnel Technology (GFITT), set up by KRCL in Madgaon, Goa.

Good news for passengers !!  It is decided to run special trains between Nagpur  - Karmali - Mumbai CSMT and Ahmedabad – Mangaluru Junction  to clear extra rush of passengers during Winter  and Christmas  in co-ordination with Central Railway & Western Railway.

1. Train No. 01196 Nagpur – Karmali One Way Special:
Train No. 01196 Nagpur – Karmali One Way Special will leave from Nagpur  at 19:50 hrs on Friday, 22/12/2017 & 29/12/2017 .Train will reach Karmali at 21:30 hrs on next day.

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided  to extend the running of train No. 02198 / 02197 Jabalpur -Coimbatore - Jabalpur Special to clear the extra rush of passengers upto 02/04/2018 in co-ordination with West Central Railway . Details are as under :

RPF staff of Konkan Railway were instrumental in securing valuable articles and lost belongings of passengers and handed them over to the rightful owners, earning appreciation from the affected passengers.

To prevent theft of Passenger belongings in Railway premises and trains, analysis of crime was done and most affected trains and stations were focussed. RPF regularly distributed Pamphlets among rail passengers for safety awareness.  

Officers and Staff of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited paid tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Day. On the occasion a function was  organized at Corporate office / Belapur on 06/12/2017.
