Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run  Holi Special Trains on Konkan Railway Route in co-ordination with Central  Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during Holi festival 2017. The details are as follows:-

1. Train No. 01103 / 01104 Mumbai CST – Sawantwadi Road – Mumbai CST Special.

Train No.01103 Mumbai CST -  Sawantwadi Road Special will leave from Mumbai CST at 01:10 Hrs on 11.03.2017 (Saturday). Train will reach Sawantwadi Road at 12 :20 Hrs on same day.

On 06/03/2017, Hon'ble Minister of State for Railways, Shri Rajen Gohain has visited Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd, at its Corporate Office at Belapur, Navi Mumbai to review performance of Konkan Railway.

Hon'ble Minister chaired the meeting on performance review of Konkan Railway with Chairman and Managing Director Shri Sanjay Gupta along with Directors & Head of the Departments of Konkan Railway. While addressing the meeting, he briefed the vision and mission of Hon'ble Minister of Railways, Shri Suresh Prabhu for socioeconomic development of  Konkan Region.

Train No.01034  Karmali  - Mumbai CST Special Train & Train No. 01090, Madgaon  -  Mumbai CST Special will open for Booking w.e.f. 05/03/2017 through Internet and all Passenger Reservation System (PRS)

1. TRAIN NO. 01119/01120 AJNI – MADGAON – AJNI WEEKLY SPECIAL :-

Train No. 01119 Ajni – Madgaon weekly special  will leave from Ajni  at 19:50 Hrs on every Monday ( 03/04/2017 to 05/06/2017 ). Train will reach Madgaon at 21:30  Hrs on next day.

It has been decided to run Superfast Special Train (Weekly) between Jabalpur – Coimbatore - Jabalpur  in co-ordination with West Central  Railway and Special Train on Special Fare (Weekly) between Gandhidham – Tirunelveli - Gandhidham  in co-ordination with Western  Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during Holi & Summer season. The details are as follows:-

1. Train No. 02198/02197 Jabalpur - Coimbatore – Jabalpur Superfast Special (Weekly) :-

South East Central Railway has decided to revise the composition     of  Train No. 08297 / 08298 Bilaspur - Madgaon - Bilaspur Weekly AC Express Summer Special  is as under:
