Good news for passengers !! It has been decided West Central Railway to extend the running of train No. 02198/02197 between Jabalpur and Coimbatore to clear the extra rush of passengers.The details are as follows:-

Train no.02198 / 02197 Jabalpur - Coimbatore- Jabalpur Superfast Special train (Weekly)

Train No. 02198 Jabalpur - Coimbatore (weekly) Superfast Special will leave from Jabalpur  at 11:00 Hrs on every Saturday ( from 10/06/2017 to 01/07/2017 ). Train will reach Coimbatore at 05:00 Hrs on third day.

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run special trains between Mumbai CST / Dadar / Lokmanya Tilak (T) / Pune and Ratnagiri /  Sawantwadi Road / Karmali  in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during Ganpati festival-2017.  The details are as follows:-
1)  Train No. 01445 Mumbai CST - Karmali (Daily) Reserved Special .

It has been decided by Central Railway to change in composition of Train No. 02005 / 02006 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Karmali - Lokmanya Tilak (T) AC Superfast Special on 26/05/2017 and 02/06/2017. Details are as under :-

Corrected Composition on 26/05/2017: Total 20 LHB Coaches = 1st AC - 01 Coach, Composite  – 01 Coach, 2 Tier AC - 04 Coach, 3 Tier AC –11  Coach, Pantry- 01, Generator cum SLR -  02 .

INTRODUCTION OF THE INDIA’S FIRST TEJAS SUPERFAST EXPRESS (Train No . 22119/22120) BETWEEN MUMBAI AND KARMALI

Hon’ble Minister for Railways has inaugurated  the high speed, air-conditioned Tejas Superfast Express between CST Mumbai and Karmali (Goa) on Konkan Railway Route for the first time on Indian Railways on 22 May 2017.

Trains in India are not just transport medium, but the heart and soul of India. As a tributes to Keshavsut the pioneer of modern Marathi poetry and for his contribution  in Marathi  literature & the spirit of the Nation, Hon’ble Railway Minister Shri Suresh Prabhu has decided to re-name the train no. 11003/11004 Dadar-Sawantwadi-Dadar RajyaRani Express as “Tutari Express” on his revolutionary  poem “Tutari”

Konkan Railway took various initiatives under able guidance of Hon’ble Railway Minister for the upliftment of Konkan Region by way of providing more and more passenger amenities/facilities on its railway stations which has facilitated in making the journey more comfortable.
