Good news for passengers!! It has been decided to run Super fast  special train between  Pune Junction  -  Madgaon Junction  in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers. The details are as follows:-

1) Train No. 02011 Pune Junction – Madgaon Junction One Way Special.
Train No. 02011 Super Fast Special will leave from Pune Junction at 18:45 Hrs on 08/06/2018 (Friday) one trip. Train will reach Madgaon at 06:05 Hrs on next day.

Every year, MoU has been signed between Ministry of Railways and Konkan Railway for performance related targets. This includes financial and physical performance of the Corporation. At the end of the financial year Department of Public Enterprises will evaluate the performance of Konkan Railway through Ministry of Railways and finalize the grading of Konkan Railway.

Hon’ble Minister of Railways has declared 2018 as the year where there would be a focused efforts across Indian Railways to collectively strive for safety of women passenger and children.

During the visit to India of Hon’ble Prime Minister of Nepal, as a measure to enhance bilateral co-operation between India and Nepal, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India had announced that India will undertake the feasibility study for the Raxaul – Kathmandu Railway link (200 Km).    

In continuation to the  Press Release issued on 04/05/2018, Train No. 50101 / 50102 Ratnagiri – Madgaon – Ratnagiri Passenger was cancelled due to Upkeep & Upgradation work of Zuari and Mandovi Bridges in Goa.

Konkan Railway took special efforts and completed the work of one bridge. As a result the services of Train No. 50101 / 50102  Ratnagiri – Madgaon – Ratnagiri Passenger has been restored  w.e.f. 09/05/2018.

Passengers may note the same and avail  the services.

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to extend the periodicity of following Special Trains by one trip each between Mumbai CSMT / Panvel - Karmali to clear extra rush of passengers during Summer holidays in co-ordination with Central Railway. The details are as follows:-

Konkan Railway has planned to carry out upkeep and upgradation work of Zuari and Mandovi bridges between 4th to 29th May 2018. During this period, POT/PTFE bearings of both the bridges will be replaced which will enhance the smooth running of trains on these bridges.

The following trains will be not be operated during the above period:

A. Cancellation of Trains :

1. Train No. 50102 Madgaon-Ratnagiri Passenger  will remain cancelled on 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd  and 25th to 29th May 2018.

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run Additional Special Trains between Mumbai CSMT / Panvel – Karmali   to clear extra rush of passengers during summer holidays in co-ordination with Central Railway. The details are as follows:-

RPF staff of Konkan Railway are not only effectively discharging their duties of protection of railway property but are also instrumental in securing valuable articles and lost belongings of passengers and return them to the rightful owners. This good work done by RPF staff is earning KRCL appreciation from the affected passengers.
 

It has been decided to augment the coaches on temporary basis in  following trains to clear extra rush of passengers during Summer - 2018 in co-ordination with  Central Railway.  Details are as under :
