Good news for passengers !! Ministry of Railways have decided to introduce Train no. 17419/17420 Tirupati – Vasco-da-Gama – Tirupati Express (weekly)  and  Train no. 17021/17022 Hyderabad - Vasco-Da-Gama -  Hyderabad Express (Weekly). Minister of Railways will flag off the Tirupati – Vasco-Da-Gama train service on 29/12/2016 at Tirupati.

Good news for passengers !!  It has been decided to extend experimental halt (until further advice) of Train No. 22150/22149 at Karwar station  over Konkan Railway.

In continuation to the Press Release issued  dated-20/12/2016 , regarding running of Train No. 09009/09010 Mumbai Central – Mangalore Jn – Mumbai Central (Weekly) special Train on special fare to clear the extra rush of passengers during Christmas Festival. Good news for passengers !!  It has been decided to run Special Trains  between  H.Nizamuddin  -  Madgaon  -  H.Nizamuddin  to clear extra rush of passengers during Winter Season, in co-ordination with  Northern Railway. Details of train services are given as below :-

In view of recent decision taken by Government of India to promote cashless transactions / Payment through electronic means, Konkan Railway has decided to install Point of Sale (POS) machines at various locations  to allow cashless transaction using Debit / Credit cards.

Shri Pradeep Sharma was travelling from Bikaner  to Ratnagiri  by Train No. 16311 Bikaner Kochuveli Express on 13.12.2016 on reaching  Ratnagiri, he  found  that his mobile was  lost  in Coach No. S-11. Immediately he reported to Konkan Railway Commercial Staff  Ms. Aparna Jadhav at Ratnagiri Station then she contacted on duty Ticket Examiner Shri Naik and Shri K.N. Rao after that search was carried out by both of them  and  Mobile was found in the train which was handed over to Shri Pradeep Sharma.

Good news for passengers !!  It has been decided to run Special Trains between      Ahmedabad – Mangalore Jn – Ahmedabad and  Yeshvantpur - Vasco-Da-Gama  -  Yeshvantpur to clear extra rush of passengers during Christmas festival, in co-ordination with Western Railway and South Western Railway respectively.
