Taking into account the inconvenience and hardships being faced by the people staying in and around Kalbani in District of Ratnagiri, Hon'ble Minister for Railways, Shri Suresh Prabhu has laid the Foundation Stone for a new station at Kalbani, in order to make their dream come true for their comfortable journey on Konkan Railway Route.

Taking into account the inconvenience and hardships being faced by the people staying in and around Achirne in District of Sindhudurg, Hon'ble Minister for Railways, Shri Suresh Prabhu has laid the Foundation Stone for a new station at Achirne, in order to make their dream come true for their comfortable journey on Konkan Railway Route.

With the initiative of Hon'ble Railway Minister, Shri Suresh Prabhu, this proposal which was conceived jointly by Railway Ministry & Government of Maharashtra, is finally seeing light of the day with the identification of Shapoorji Pallonji Corporation Pvt. Ltd. (SPCPL) as PPP Partner of KRCL.

Booking for Train No. 01005, Karmali-Lokmaya Tilak Terminus Reserved Special and Train No. 01042 Karmali- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Reserved Special will be opened with effect from 09/08/16.

RUNNING OF WEEKEND RESERVED SPECIAL TRAINS ON KONKAN RAILWAY ROUTE
Good news for passengers !! it has been decided to run August Weekend Special Trains between Nagpur-Karmali-Lokmaya Tilak Teminus and Lokmaya Tilak Terminus-Karmali-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to clear extra rush of passengers in co-ordination with Central Railway. Details of services are given as under.
COMMERCIAL HALT TO TRAINS ON KONKAN RAILWAY ROUTE
Good news for passengers !! It has been decided by Ministry of Railways to provide Commercial Halt to following trains at Ratnagiri with effect from 01.10.2016. Accordingly timings of Commercial Stoppages of the train passing through Konkan Railway are given as under :-
