RUNNING OF GANPATI SPECIAL TRAINS ON KONKAN RAILWAY DURING GANPATI FESTIVAL

In order to cater for the extra rush during the ensuing Ganpati Festival -2013, Konkan Railway, in co-ordination with Western Railway, has introduced the following Special Train between Ahemdabad- Madgaon for the convenience of its most valuable and esteemed passengers. The details of these train services are as under:

      Konkan Railway shares the sorrow of the Nation for the loss of lives and property of the people in Uttarakhand. It is also a matter of grave concern that thousands of pilgrims have lost their precious lives during the heavy floods in the State of Uttarakhand, which is an unfortunate natural calamity.

In order to cater to the extra rush of passengers during the ensuing Ganpati Festival -2013, Konkan Railway, in co-ordination with Western Railway has introduced the following Special Trains between Bandra-Madgaon-Bandra and Ahemdabad-Madgaon-Ahemdabad for the convenience of its most valuable and esteemed passengers. The details of these train services are as under:

KONKAN RAILWAY CARRIES OUT VARIOUS GEO-SAFETY WORKS TO ENSURE SAFETY & SECURITY OF PASSENGERS AS WELL AS PUNCTUALITY OF TRAINS DURING THE MONSOON SEASON.

Konkan Railway is always committed to the cause of Safety and Security of its Esteemed Passengers. In order to ensure safety measures before the onset of monsoon, as also to stabilize the cuttings and make the track safe to travel, KRCL has carried out various Geo-Safety Works on its route as a precautionary measures prior to on-set of monsoon this year.

Monsoon Time Table on Konkan Rly from 10th June

As done during monsoons, this year too Konkan Railway will implement Monsoon Time Table on Konkan Railway route w.e.f 10th June to 31st Oct to provide safe passage to trains during monsoon and maintain punctuality. Monsoon timings will come into effect from 10-06-2013 (i.e., train leaving from originating stations on 10-06-2013). There may be slight changes in these timings due to introduction of All India Time Table w.e.f 01.07.2013.

In order to cater for the extra rush during Summer Season-2013, Konkan Railway, in co-ordination with Central Railway, has decided to run additional service of Train No. 01003/01004 Dadar – Sawantwadi – Dadar on existing timings, composition and stoppages.

MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS INTRODUCES NEW WEEKLY TRAIN NO.22629 / 22630 BETWEEN TIRUNELVELI – DADAR ON KONKAN RAILWAY ROUTE

Ministry of Railways have decided to introduce a New Weekly Train No. 22629/22630 between Tirunelveli and Dadar Superfast Express on a Konkan Railway Route with immediate effect. Train No. 22630 Ex Titrunelveli from 01/05/2013 and Train No. 22629 ex Dadar from 03/05/2013.
