TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided by Central Railway to attach additional Coaches in the following trains to clear extra rush of passengers for Mahaparinirvan Din.

1. Two additional Second Seating coaches to Train No. 50108/ 50106 Madgaon-Sawantwadi -Diva Passenger from 05.12.2015 to 06.12.2015 and Train No.50105 / 50107 Diva -Sawantwadi -Madgaon Passenger from 06.12.2015 to 07.12.2015.

Short Termination / Originate of train service from Panvel.

Due to Dismantling of Hancock ROB between Byculla & Mumbai CST,  Mega block will be taken  by Central Railway  from 00.20hrs to 18.20hrs (18.00hrs block)  on 10/01/2016.

In view of this Central Railway has decided to Terminate / Originate the following trains at Panvel (PNVL) on 10/01/2016.

It was a long cherished dream of passengers on Konkan Railway Route to have a Double Decker Train between Mumbai & Madgaon to cater for the extra rush in order to make the journey more comfortable.

As is being done during monsoons, this year too Konkan Railway will implement Monsoon Time Table on Konkan Railway route w.e.f 10/06/2016 to 31/10/2016 (i.e., train leaving from originating stations on 10/06/2016) in order to ensure smooth & punctual running of trains and to avoid inconvenience to passengers. Passengers who have been issued journey tickets prior to announcement of the Monsoon Time Table, are requested to check the timings of their train well in advance as the departure timing of some trains will be pre-poned / post pond.

Good News for Passengers  !!  it has been decided by Northern Railway to augment the coaches for the following trains on temporary basis during Summer season. The details are as under :-.

“SARATHI SEVA”

A Service for the Physically Challenged Passengers travelling on Konkan Railway Route

Konkan Railway being a responsible Corporate Citizen, has introduced a unique ‘Sarathi Seva’ Service for the Physically Challenged Passengers.

In this service, wheel-chair along with an Assistant is provided free of cost to physically challenged passengers at nominated stations from coach to exit  and vice versa. At present this scheme is available at Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Karmali, Madgaon and Udupi stations.
