NON-MONSOON TIME TABLE ON KONKAN RAILWAY W.E.F. 1st NOVEMBER 2014

 

The Non – Monsoon Time Table for   Mail / Express and Passenger trains will come into effect on Konkan Railway from. 1st November, 2014 (i.e trains leaving originating station). Passengers are requested to kindly take a note of the same before undertaking the journey.

Vigilance Awareness week is being observed in all the offices of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd from 27th October to 1st November, 2014. As a part of the Vigilance Week, the Chairman & Managing Director of Konkan Railway, Shri Bhanu Prakash Tayal, administered a pledge of integrity and transparency to the employees at its Corporate Office at Navi Mumbai on 27th October.

CAUTIONARY ADVISE TO CANDIDATES BY KONKAN RLY

It has come to light that some unscrupulous elements are misleading general public by issuing letters for Oral Interview / Document Verification for appointment in Konkan Railway and demanding and accepting money for the same. The letters are issued by these fraudulent persons on a fake letterhead of Konkan Railway, which shows incorrect contact numbers and mis-spelt name of the Organization.

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to augment one  additional Second Class Sleeper coach and 2 additional General Class Coaches to train no. 11003 / 11004 Dadar – Sawantwadi Rd – Dadar Rajyarani Express on Konkan Railway route on a permanent basis w.e.f 9/11/2014.

 

Passengers may note the same.

Children’s Day celebrated in Konkan Rly

 

 

Recognizing the rights of the children to have their childhood, Konkan Railway celebrated the Children’s Day by donating toys, clothes and sweets to a children’s home at Navi Mumbai.

An inter – regional competition of Painting and Elocution was also organized by Konkan Railway for the children of its employees on the day. The topic for the competition was “Swacchh Bharat – A step towards Cleanliness”.
