Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run Special Train between Madgaon and Chennai Central on Special Fare  in co-ordination with Southern Railway to clear extra rush of passengers. The details are as follows:-

1. Train No. 06040 Madgaon – Chennai Central Special Train on Special Fare :

Train No. 06040  Madgaon – Chennai Central special train on special fare will leave from Madgaon at 10:15 Hrs on 25th January 2017 (Wednesday). Train will reach Chennai Central at 09:45 Hrs on next day.

Southern Railway is operating line block for commissioning of doubling between Jokatte and Panambur section (Near Mangalore) from 23rd to 30th January 2017. As such, there will be Non -Interlocked (NI) working at Thokur Station of Konkan Railway from 08:00 Hrs of 26/01/2017 to 08:00 Hrs of 29/01/2017.

Due to Non Interlocked working, the following trains will be affected:

CANCELLATION:

1. Train No. 22635/22636 Mangalore-Madgaon-Mangalore Intercity exp. will be cancelled for 3 days on 26th, 27th & 28th January 2017

SHORT TERMINATION:

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run Special Train between Madgaon and Mumbai CST on Special Fare  in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers. The details are as follows:-

1.Train No. 00112 Madgaon – Mumbai CST Special Train on Special Fare.

Train No. 00112  Madgaon – Mumbai CST special train on special fare will leave from Madgaon at 10:40 Hrs on 22nd January 2017(Sunday). Train will reach Mumbai CST at 22:45 Hrs on the same day.

In continuation with the press release dated 17/01/2017, regarding "Running of Special Trains on Konkan Railway", booking for following Weekend Special Trains will be opened with effect from 20/01/2017 through Internet and all Passenger Reservation Syatem (PRS) locations.

1) Train No. 01084 , Madgaon - NAGPUR Special
2) Train No. 01046 , Madgaon - Mumbai CST Special
3) Train No. 01014 Karmali- Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special

Passengers may avail of the services.

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run following  Special Trains in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during  weekend  :-

1.Train No. 01005 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Madgaon Special.

Train No. 01005  Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Madgaon special train will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 16:55 Hrs on 25th January 2017. Train will reach Madgaon at 04:00 Hrs on next day.

The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal and Thivim stations.

Good news for passengers !! One additional AC 3-tier Coach will be attached to the following trains on temporary basis  by Western Railway  to clear extra rush of passengers. Details are as under .

1. One additional AC 3-tier coach to Train No. 19260 Bhavnagar – Kochuveli - Express with effect from 15.01.2017, 22.01.2017 & 29.01.2017.

2.  One additional AC 3-tier coach to Train no. 19259 Kochuveli – Bhavnagar on 19.01.2017, 26.01.2017 & 02.02.2017 Train will have 19 Coaches after augmentation.

Good news for passengers !! Konkan Railway in co-ordination with Southern Railway will run a Bharat Darshan Special Train from Madurai to Madgaon and back, organised by the South Zone of IRCTC. Two AC 3-tier coaches and four Sleeper Class coaches of the special train will be available for booking through Passenger Reservation System (PRS) centres. The different legs of the special train are as detailed below.

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided by Ministry of Railways to run Train No. 22119 / 22120 Mumbai CST – Karmali – Mumbai CST, Tejas Superfast Express on Konkan Railway Route ( five days a week). The details are as follows:-

A. Inaugural Service :

Hon’ble Minister for Railways will flag-off Train No. 22119 Mumbai CST-Karmali Tejas Superfast as Inaugural Special 02119 from Mumbai CST on 22/05/2017 (Monday) at 15.25 hrs via Video conferencing from Swami Narayan Sabhagruh, Dadar. The train will reach Karmali at 00:35 hrs on next day.

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run Special Trains between Kollam - Lokmanya Tilak (T) and Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Mangalore Central to clear extra rush of passengers during Sabarimala festival & Winter Season 2016, in co-ordination with Central Railway & Southern Railway.
