KONKAN RAILWAY TO UPGRADE PASSENGER AMENITIES FOR ITS ESTEEMED PASSENGERS AT KUDAL RAILWAY STATION.

Taking into account the requirement of local passengers and specific request of Hon’ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Goa to Shri Suresh Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister for Railways, Konkan Railway has decided to introduce DEMU services between Pernem and Karwar. The inaugural train will be flagged off by Shri Suresh Prabhu Hon’ble Minister for Railways on 08.08.2015 at 15.00 hrs from Pernem station. Regular service will commence from  10.08.2015. The details are as under :-

1) DEMU Train No. 70101/70102  Karwar – Pernem – Karwar

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run following special trains on Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival in co-ordination with Central Railway.  The details are as under :-

1) Train no. 01005/01006 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Madgaon – Lokmanya Tilak (T)           (Reserved Special)

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run a Special Train between Madgaon and Gorakhpur to provide extra facility to passengers. Special train between Madgoan- Gorakhpur (Single Joourney) will run as per the  details given below  :-

Train no. 05048 Madgaon – Gorakhpur Special Express Train :-

Train no. 05048 Madgaon – Gorakhpur Special Express Train  will leave from Madgaon at 20.00 hrs on 08/12/2015 (Tuesday). The train will reach Gorakhpur at 19.30 hrs on Third day i.e. 10/12/2015.

It was a long cherished dream of passengers on Konkan Railway Route to have a Double Decker Train between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus & Madgaon  to cater for the extra rush in order to make the journey more comfortable.

AC Double Decker Express Train No. 11085 (Tri-weekly) will have AC Chair Car Coaches and will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on every Sunday, Wednesday and  Friday at  05:30 Hrs and will reach Madgaon at 17:30 Hrs on the same day.

It was a long cherished dream of passengers on Konkan Railway Route to have a Double Decker Train between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus & Madgaon  to cater for the extra rush in order to make the journey more comfortable.

Smt. Rabiyabi Sheikh, an elderly lady aged about 65 years, residing at Ghatkopar, was travelling with her husband Shri Kasam Sheikh in S-10 Coach of 10111 Dn Konkan Kanya Express from Mumbai to Karmali.

While coming out of the washroom between Khed and Chiplun, though she opened the door, she slipped and her leg got stuck into the Indian style commode.

As per the notification received from Southern Railway, Line Block for 6 Hrs. duration from 15.15 hrs to 21.15hrs on 15/12/2015 (Tuesday) has been taken for insertion of RCC boxes for subway at Jokatte between Padil & Thokur section. The following trains will be Partially Cancelled / Rescheduled / Regulated as per the details given below.

(1) Partial Cancellation :

(I) Train No. 56666 / 56665 Mookambika Road (Byndoor) – Kasargod – Mookambika Road (Byndoor) passenger between Mangalore (Jn.)  – Mookambika Road (Byndoor)- Mangalore (Jn.)

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run Holiday Special Trains between Indore – Kochuveli – Indore , Ahmedabad – Mangalore Jn. – Ahmedabad, Mumbai Central – Mangalore Jn. Mumbai Central and Bandra Terminus – Karmali – Bandra Terminus (Weekly basis) on Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers during Christmas  Festival in co-ordination with Central & Western Railway.  The details are as under :-

1) Train No. 09310 / 09309 Indore – Kochuveli – Indore (Weekly) “Superfast” Suvidha Special :-

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run Holiday Special Trains between Mubai CST/ Lokmanya Tilak Terminus & Karmali   (Weekly basis) on Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers during Winter / Christmas  Festival in co-ordination with Central Railway.  The details are as under :-
