Since the inception of Konkan Railway, we are  striving hard for the comfort and care of our esteemed passengers. Additional and special train services were organised during peak seasons like summer, winter and festive seasons to facilitates Konkan Railway travellers. Due to this there has been always heavy demand  for train services to Konkan from people of konkan &  tourist  tavelling across konkan.

During this year Ganesh festival also Konkan Railway has organised and decided to run number of special trains with the co-ordination with Central Railway & Western Railway for the devotees of  Ganesha. This year we have taken special care to announce additional / special train services well in advance and on specific days when maximum rush is expected so that passengers can plan their journey and book their tickets to avoid last minute rush at booking windows.  

Konkan Railway in cordination with Central Railway  & Western Railway has planned total 226 special trips to destinations viz. Chiplun,Ratnagiri ,Sawantwadi, Karmali and Madgaon. Out of this 24 trips are  arranged from and to  Bandra Terminus on special request and demand from people of Konkan residing in Western Suburbs. Also 14 trips are arranged to & fro Ahamadabad via Vasai Rd.
