It has been decided by South Western Railway to take up a Pre NI & NI Block for yard remodelling work at KSR Bengaluru station. Repercussion to train services are as under :

Partial Cancellation & Short Termination of Trains : 

1) 16596 Karwar - KSR Bengaluru Panchaganga Express (Daily) journey commences from 31/07/2026 to 02/08/2026 (03 days) will be partially cancelled between Yesvantpur Jn. -  KSR Bengaluru and will be short terminated at Yesvantpur Jn.

2) 16595 KSR Bengaluru - Karwar Panchaganga Express (Daily) journey commences from 01/08/2026 to 03/08/2026 (03 days) will be partially cancelled between KSR Bengaluru - Yesvantpur Jn. and will originate from Yesvantpur Jn. instead of KSR Bengaluru at its scheduled departure time at Yesvantpur Jn. 

Diversion of Trains: 
 

1) 16586 Murdeshwar - Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Express (Daily) journey commences on 16/07/2026 & 17/07/2026 (02 days) will be diverted via KSR Bengaluru - Yesvantpur Jn. - Hebbal - Banaswadi skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cant. station.

2) 16585 Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru - Murdeshwar Express (Daily) journey commences from 17/07/2026 to 19/07/2026 (03 days) will be diverted via Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru - Banaswadi - Hebbal - Yesvantpur Jn. - KSR Bengaluru skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cant. station.

Rescheduling of Trains : 
 

16586 - Murdeshwar - Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Express (Daily) journey commences on 03/08/2026 (01 day) is rescheduled by 60 mins Ex. Murdeshwar.
