In continuation to the press release dated 07.05.2026 regarding “Partial Cancellation, Short Termination, Diversion & Reschedule of Trains” it has been decided by South Western Railway  to revise the diversion of Train No. 16586 Murdeshwar - Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru  Express in connection with the  Pre NI & NI Block for yard remodelling work at KSR Bengaluru station. Repercussion to train services are as under: 

Diversion of Trains: 

1) Train no. 16586 Murdeshwar - Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Express (Daily) journey commencing on 16/07/2026 & 17/07/2026 (02 days) will be diverted via KSR Bengaluru - Yesvantpur Jn. - Hebbal - Banaswadi skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cant. station.

2) Train no. 16586 Murdeshwar - Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Express (Daily) journey commencing from 31/07/2026 to 02/08/2026 (03 days) will be diverted via Hassan Jn. - Nelamangala  - Chik Banavar  - Yesvantpur A Cabin - Lottegollahalli - Banaswadi - Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru skipping stoppage at Hole Narsipur - Krishnarajanagar - Mysuru Jn. - Mandya - Ramanagaram - KSR Bengaluru City Jn. - Bengaluru Cant.  station.
