The 68th Independence Day of the Nation was celebrated by Konkan Railway with great gusto at its residential colony at Seawoods, Navi Mumbai and in the Regions. The National Flag was unfurled at Seawoods colony by the Chairman & Managing Director of Konkan Railway, Shri Bhanu Prakash Tayal. He later inspected the RPF contingent.

In his message, Shri Tayal apprised the gathering of the various achievements of Konkan Railway in past one year and urged everyone to continue contributing positively to the growth of the Corporation.

The function was attended by all the officers and staff of Konkan Railway along with their family members.
