Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, Chairman & Managing Director, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), is an experienced administrator and railway professional as well as a noted poet. With three published poetry collections to his credit, he has been contributing to Hindi literature through his reflective and expressive writings.

On the occasion of Hindi Diwas during the 5th All India Rajbhasha Conference held at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Shri Santosh Kumar Jha’s fourth poetry collection, “Syahi Ka Sipahi”, was formally released.

The book was unveiled by Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Law and Justice and Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Hon’ble  Rajya Sabha MP,  Dr. Anand Ranganathan, Scientist and Smt. Anshuli Arya, Secretary (Rajbhasha), Government of India.

This launch highlights Shri Santosh Kumar Jha’s dedication to literature alongside his leadership of Konkan Railway. “Syahi Ka Sipahi,” following his earlier works “Unmukt,” “Suraj Ka Waris,” and “Phool, Kalam aur Bandook,” further strengthens his literary journey while complementing his distinguished professional career and inspiring railway personnel to contribute meaningfully to India’s rich cultural and linguistic heritage.
