Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to run the following additional special trains to clear extra rush of passengers during the Ganapati Festival-2026. Details are as under: 

1) Train no. 01004 / 01003 Madgaon Jn. - Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Madgaon Jn. Special :

Train No. 01004 Madgaon Jn. - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special will leave from  Madgaon Jn. at 16:00 hrs on 15/09/2026 & 18/09/2026. The train will reach  Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 06:05 hrs on the next day.

Train No. 01003 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Madgaon Jn. Special will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 07:50 hrs on 16/09/2026 & 19/09/2026. The train will reach  Madgaon Jn. at 23:45 hrs on the same day.

Trains will halt at Karmali, Thivim, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Sindhudurg, Kankavali, Nandgaon Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Rajapur Road, Vilavade, Adavali, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar Road, Sawarda, Chiplun, Khed, Veer, Mangaon, Roha, Pen, Panvel & Thane stations. 

Composition : Total 19 Coaches = 3 Tier AC - 03 Coaches, Sleeper - 08 Coaches, General - 06 Coaches, SLR/D - 02.

2) Train no. 01160 / 01159 Chiplun - Panvel - Chiplun Unreserved MEMU Special :

Train No. 01160 Chiplun - Panvel Unreserved MEMU Special will leave from Chiplun at 09:00 hrs from 10/09/2026 to 14/09/2026 and 18/09/2026 to 27/09/2026. The train will reach Panvel at 14:30 hrs on the same day.

Train No. 01159 Panvel - Chiplun Unreserved MEMU Special will leave from Panvel  at 15:20 hrs from 10/09/2026 to 14/09/2026 and 18/09/2026 to 27/09/2026. The train will reach Chiplun at 22:20 hrs on the same day. 

Train will halt at Anjani, Khed, Kalambani Budruk, Diwankhavati, Vinhere, Karanjadi, Sape Wamne, Veer, Goregaon Road, Mangaon, Indapur, Kolad, Roha & Pen stations. 

Composition :Total 08 MEMU Coaches.

The bookings for Train no. 01004 will open on 08/09/2026 at all Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS), internet and IRCTC website.
