गांधी जयंती के अवसर पर गाँधी जी को  याद करने के लिए हमारे माननीय प्रधान मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदीजी ने 02/10/2014 को स्वच्छ भारत अभियान शुरू किया था, जिस को सभी लोगों द्वारा   सराहा गया । तीसरे वर्ष की शुरुआत में ,स्वच्छता अभियान को न केवल रेलवे में ही नहीं बल्कि पूरे देश  ने इस अभियान में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया ।

मध्य रेलवे के समन्वय से पूजा / दीवाली महोत्सव के दौरान यात्रियों की अतिरिक्त भीड़ को ध्यान मे रखते हुए दादर- सावंतवाड़ी रोड - दादर और दादर –रत्नागिरी-दादर के बीच विशेष गाड़ियां चलाने का निर्णय लिया गया है। विवरण निम्नानुसार हैं: -
1) गाड़ी संख्या 01113/01114 दादर - सावंतवाड़ी रोड - दादर विशेष गाड़ी (मानसून समय सारणी)।
 गाड़ी संख्या 01113 दादर-सावंतवाड़ी रोड विशेष गाड़ी सुबह 07.50 बजे दादर से प्रस्थान करेगी और यह गाड़ी उसी दिन रात 20:00 बजे सावंतवाड़ी रोड पहुंचेगीI  यह गाड़ी (रवि, मंगल, शुक्र) 21, 23, 25, 28 व 30 अक्टूबर 2016 को चलाई जाएगीI

Good news for passengers !! An additional 2-tier AC coach will be attached to the following train on temporary basis  by Northern Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during ensuing Pooja, Dipawali and Chhat Festival. Details are as under :

One additional 2-tier AC coach to Train No. 12284 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Duranto Express with effect from 01.10.2016 to  12.11.2016 and  Train No. 12283 Ernakulam- Nizamuddin Express from 04.10.2016 to 15.11.2016.

Train will have 17 Coaches after augmentation.

Passengers may avail the services.

Nine-days Swachhta Saptah from 17th  to 25th  September as per directives from the Railway Board across Konkan Railway is being organized. it is a part of nationwide Swachhta Abhiyan. Motto of cleanliness drive is coined as Swachh Rail-Swachh Bharat.

Special emphasis has been given to improve the cleanliness of station and trains. In addition, a special focus is being given on quality of drinking water, swachh ahaar, cleaning of drains, adequacy of dustbins etc.

In continuation to the erlier Press Release issued on 01.09.2016 regarding running of  Special train on Special fare  between Gandhidham – Tirunelveli – Gandhidham (Weekly) to clear extra rush of passengers during Puja and Diwali Festival, Southern Railway has adivsed that Train No. 09457 Tirunelveli – Gandhidham (Weekly) Special Train on Special fare will run as Suvidha Special with revised Train No. 09459 on following date of service only.

Central Railway has decided to take up Line Block at DIVA station  on 18/09/2016 Sunday from 08:30 to 18:30hrs Total 10:00hrs Block due to which following train cancelled and special trains will be run. Details  of the services are given as under:-

A) Cancellation :-

Train No.50104/ 50103 Ratnagiri – Dadar – Ratnagiri Passenger on 18/09/2016  (Sunday) is  cancelled.
         
B) Train No. 00504 /00509  Ratnagiri - Panvel –Ratnagiri  Unreserved Special on 18/09/2016  :-

Good news for passengers ! It has been decided to run special trains between Madgaon - Khargpur,  Madgaon - Patna and Ratnagiri - Pune to clear extra rush of passengers  Details are given  as under:

1. Train No. 00126 Madgaon –Kharagpur Reserved Special on 18/09/2016.

Train No.00126  Madgaon-Kharagpur Reserved Special will leave from Madgaon  at 15.30 Hrs on 18/09/2016. Train will reach Kharagpur at 10.00 Hrs on Third Day.

Good news for passengers !! An additional 3-tier AC coach will be attached to the following trains on temporary basis by Western Railway. Details are as under :

One additional 3-tier AC coach to Train No. 19262 Porbandar - Kochuveli Express with effect from 27.10.2016 to  03.11.2016 and  Train No. 19261 Kochuveli – Porbandar Express from 03.10.2016 to 06.11.2016.
